Name release - fatal crash Papatoetoe

The driver of a truck that crashed into two houses in Papatoetoe on Sunday morning (August 14) and died can now be named.
 
He was Desmond Lloyd George, 55-years-old, from Waipa.
 
Police believe the crash resulted from a medical event however the death will be referred to the Coroner.
 
Our thoughts are with Mr George’s family at this difficult time.
