Police can now name the man who was killed in a single motorbike crash on Grant Street, Dannevirke, in the early hours of the morning on 30 August, 2014.
He was Hamish Gore, aged 30, of Dannevirke.
Police want to thank the members of the public who provided assistance to Mr Gore at the scene.
Dannevirke Police assisted by the Serious Crash Unit are continuing to investigate the crash.
The death has now been referred to the Coroner.
