Police can confirm that a motorcyclist has died in a crash on Onehunga Harbour Road, near the offramp of the Southwestern Motorway. The Serious Crash Unit is now investigating.
Extensive delays are expected as the road closures include part of the motorway offramp, Nielsen Street and Onehunga Mall.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Police will advise once the road is reopened.
