Missing French Canadians Fiordland

 

Southern Police are investigating two missing French Canadian tourists who were reported overdue by family members on the 25th of July 2015.

 

The French speaking men are Louis-Vincent LESSARD and Etienne LEMIEUX both 23 years of Canada.

 

Enquiries to date have established the men booked and subsequently travelled on an Intercity Bus leaving from Queenstown on Tuesday the 7th of July travelling to Te Anau arriving at about 9.45am.

 

Their intention at this time was to walk the Kepler Track in Fiordland National Park.

 

Police Search and Rescue Squad and the Queenstown Combined Investigation Unit staff are both involved. 

 

Anyone with any information on the pair are requested to contact the Southern Police District Command Centre on 03 4715002.
