Auckland City Police is pleased to invite media to the official opening of the refurbished Balmoral Police station tomorrow.
The station was previously a base for a number of different workgroups within Auckland City Police, however following the refurbishment it will now house our multi-agency Family Harm Team, ‘Te Manawa Titi’ under the Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harekeke model. It will also maintain a public counter for general enquiries.
Police Minister Stuart Nash will be in attendance and the event will include the unveiling of the station plaque. Media will be invited to review the site and will have an opportunity for interviews.

Location: Balmoral Police Station, 1 Halston Road, Balmoral
Those attending are asked to assemble at the rear station gate on Queens Avenue by 12.45pm.
