The funeral of Alex Fisher will be held at the Salvation Army centre in Levin at 1.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
Alex’s family have made the following requests to media who intend covering the funeral:
1. All media are asked to locate themselves in a cordoned area in the corner of the centre's car park and not leave this area. (A photograph is included with this advisory showing the area which will be cordoned – the trees which show on the picture are no longer there and there is a clear view of the centre)
2. No media are to be present inside the hall for the funeral, or make any recording of the service from inside the hall.
3. The family have requested that only the arrival of Alex is filmed and photographed.
4. The family do not wish to be approached at any point before or after the funeral.
We ask media to respect the family’s wishes on these matters.
