Police have taken a man into custody following a firearms incident in Tironui Road, Takanini.
Police were notified at 10.44am that a lone man had fired shots towards a commercial premises.
Police were immediately deployed to the scene and the man was taken into custody without incident.
At this point in time no one is believed to have been injured however a large number of Police remain at the scene and are working to clear the address.
