A man has died at an address in Manurewa this morning.
Police were called to Winsford St at about 07.15am to a report that a male had been shot in the stomach.
Despite attempts by paramedics, the victim was declared deceased before just before 08.30am.
Police understand the offender left the scene in a vehicle.
Investigators are following strong lines of inquiry in their attempts to locate the offender.
