Canterbury Police have summonsed the driver of the truck involved in the fatal crash with a cyclist on Waterloo Road in Hornby on 29 September 2014.
The 50 year old man is due to appear in Christchurch District Court on 9 March 2015 charged with careless driving causing death.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
As this case is now before the courts Police are unable to make any further comment.
