Police have released the name of the man killed in an industrial incident at Lyttelton yesterday [Wednesday 27 November].

He was William (Bill) Frost, aged 58, of Coalgate, the owner of transport services firm Drivertek International Limited.

Police enquiries indicate that Mr Frost died after being pinned between the trailer of a logging truck and a forklift, on Number 2 Wharf.

It is believed Mr Frost was standing near the forklift, which was stationary, and was struck by the trailer of the logging truck which was operating in the vicinity.
