Police can now release the names of the remaining 7 victims of the Kaipara Harbour boat tragedy. We are also able to confirm the name of the remaining missing person, who remains the subject of an ongoing search, but sadly, is presumed to have drowned.

Police family liaison officers have been assigned to the families of each of the men, and these officers continue to work closely with the families.
The search for Mr Afamasaga continues. Police 4-wheel drive vehicles have conducted a further shoreline search this afternoon, which will continue into the evening.
Search efforts will continue tomorrow and will involve the use of quad bikes to allow a search of the northern tip of the South Head.
