Police have recovered a range of stolen property following search warrants executed across Te Kuiti this week.
Items recovered include a Toyota Motorhome, Toyota Van, Honda ATV, Masport lawnmower, Portable freezer, 14 fishing rods, weed spray, cleaning fluid and grass seed.
The property is in the process of being returned to the rightful owners.
In relation to the Search warrants three men have been charged and are due to appear in the Te Kuiti and Hamilton Courts on over the coming weeks and face the following charges:
A 53-year-old faces five charges including dangerous driving, burglary and party to theft.
A 49 -year-old is facing eleven charges including burglary, unlawful possession of firearms, theft of motor vehicle, demanding with menaces, assault with intent to rob and possession of cannabis.
A 41-year-old faces four charges including, receiving stolen property, party to burglary, party to demanding with menaces, and party to theft.
This action demonstrates that police will continue to take offending of this nature extremely seriously and will not hesitate to bring people before the courts.
We would like to reassure the Te Kuiti community that allegations of criminal behaviour are taken very seriously.
Police continue to encourage anyone with information about criminal offending, or those concerned for their safety or that of anyone else, to come forward to local Police or Crimestoppers.
