Canterbury Police can confirm that the five people involved in an incident that occurred at around 1am outside Christchurch Casino on New Year’s morning have been formally interviewed.
Two people came forward today (8 January 2016) after a Canterbury Police social media to identify two persons of interest.
Police are currently keeping an open mind and reviewing other CCTV footage from the area and assessing the information provided by those involved in order to piece together the events prior to the incident.
Police urge anyone who was in the area and saw anything or can provide any information to assist the investigation to contact the Metro Crime Team by calling Christchurch Central Police Station on 03 363 7400.
