Police investigating the aggravated burglary on an elderly female in the Papatoetoe area on 8 January 2014 are still interested in hearing from anyone with information that can help with the case.
Particularly of interest are any sightings or knowledge of the gold bangles and the distinctive pendant (pictured), which were taken off the victim during the assault. Police are also keen to hear about anyone who was in possession of a number of coins (approximately $40-50 worth) in the area on or about 8 January 2014, and any suspicious behaviour in and around the Huia Road, Stonex Road and Bernard Street areas prior to and after the incident (between 1pm and 4pm).
The incident was recently featured on Police Ten 7, and Police believe that the person responsible for this attack will have told someone.
"There is someone out there who knows who has done this," says Detective Sergeant Tom Gollan. "We urge anyone with information on the crime or on the whereabouts of the jewellery or coins to come forward as soon as possible."
