Fatal motorway crash - name release

Police investigating yesterday's fatal crash on the South Western motorway are now able to release the man's name. 
 
Rawhiti Hita, 70 years old of Ponsonby was killed after the rubbish truck he was driving crashed at around 4.30pm. 
 
The Waitemata Serious Crash unit is investigating the circumstances and it will be at least several weeks before any definitive cause is known.
