Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash which occurred in Roxburgh this morning.
At about 10.30am this morning, Police were called to a single vehicle crash on the Fruitlands-Roxburgh Road where a vehicle had left the road and slid down a bank.
The driver, a 62 year old man, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was taken to Dunstan Hospital with serious injuries. He died this afternoon.
No other vehicle was involved and Police have launched a Serious Crash Investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
The name of the deceased will be released once next of kin have been informed.
