Police are still looking for Leeann Ailini Scott, aged 48 years, who has been missing from the Taipa area since Friday afternoon.
Leeann was last seen at the Taipa shops and an extensive search by Police, Fire, and Far North LandSAR volunteers failed to locate her.
There have been reports of Leeann being seen in the Foxton area, so she may be hitchhiking. She is described as Maori, 176cm tall, of solid build and was last seen wearing an orange fluorescent top, black pants and Nike running shoes.
Anyone who may have seen Leeann or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact Kaitaia Police on 09 408 6500.
