Drowning at Waimarama Beach, Hawke's Bay

One person has drowned at Waimarama Beach in Hawke’s Bay this evening.
 
Police were called to the beach shortly before 7pm after three people got into difficulty in the water.
 
Sadly one of the people died after being recovered from the water.  
 
Two people have been transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital in a moderate condition.
