The death of a woman who was hit by a train last night in Henderson will be referred to the Coroner.
Police can confirm that the 46 year-old woman had self-discharged from the Waitakere Hospital emergency deparment, a short time before the incident occurred.
As is routine with the sudden or unexpected death of any person, Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the incident and these details will then be passed to the Coroner.
