Auckland City CIB members, a pathologist and ESR staff are attending the Balmoral scene of an as-yet unexplained death.
A man's body was discovered by acquaintances of his at the rear of a Halston Road disused grocery store shortly before 1pm today and Police were notified immediately afterwards.
It's unclear how long the man had been dead before being found but it is unlikely to be more than a day. The man had been sleeping rough in the area for some time.
