Canterbury Police are able to name the victim following an unexplained death on Sunday morning (12 July 2015) at Terra Vive Motels. She was 31 year old Anne Marie Wanhalla.
The death has been referred to the Coroner. Canterbury Police and Victim Support are working with Anne’s family while they come to terms with their loss.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Harvey says “The room has been released back to the owners following a forensic examination and a post mortem was completed yesterday afternoon.”
Police investigations on behalf of the Coroner are continuing.
