Cyclist dies following Hastings crash

A cyclist who was critically injured in a crash in Hastings yesterday has died. 
 
The crash occurred on Railway Road at around 5pm. 
 
The cyclist, a 13-year-old boy, passed away at Hawke’s Bay Hospital this morning. 
 
Enquiries are ongoing regarding the circumstances of the crash.
 
Police are not in a position to release the boy’s name at this stage. 
 
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
