A 17-month-old child critically injured in Tauranga on Wednesday, 27 March, has died at Starship Hospital today.
Police are investigating the cause of the injuries and the circumstances leading up to the incident, and were conducting enquiries in the Maungatapu area yesterday.
A number of people are cooperating with Police enquiries.
