A three year child has died in a house fire in Hamilton this morning.
At approximately 10.50am, emergency services were called to a house fire in Dinsdale. The fire was well advanced when they arrived.
The child has died at the scene. A woman is in Waikato Hospital in a serious condition. Two others, a four year old and an 18-year old, suffered smoke inhalation and are also being treated at the hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No names will be released until all family members are informed.
