Police are appealing to the public in order to resolve an armed robbery of the Masters Avenue Superette on 20 May 2014.

Around 8pm on Tuesday 20 May, two offenders entered the store, one armed with a pistol, which was presented at the lone shopkeeper. A quantity of cash and cigarettes were taken and the offenders fled on foot.

Police have released the attached CCTV images.  One image contains the two offenders in the act, who may be able to be identified by their clothing.

The other two images are of two people who were in the store prior to the robbery acting in a suspicious manner. Police would like to speak to these individuals in order to eliminate them from the enquiry.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Stuart McIntyre from Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200.  Information can also be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
