Following the discovery of a body at a Bryndwr, Christchurch address on Sunday evening, a 22-year old Christchurch woman has been charged with murder and will appear in the Christchurch District Court this morning (Monday 28 April).
Detective Inspector Greg Murton says enquiries into the death are continuing. A scene examination at the Earnslaw Crescent, Bryndwr, address where the body was located, is under way this morning. Police are also speaking to witnesses.
Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the deceased. A post mortem is likely to take place this afternoon.
