Airport Police have attended an incident at Auckland Airport this morning after inappropriate comments were made by a passenger.
The comments were brought to the attention of staff and it was arranged for the passenger to be met by Police upon landing at Auckland Airport.
The flight was from Christchurch to Auckland.
Upon landing, the aircraft was searched and Police and Airport staff are satisfied that there is no threat to the public.
One man was met by Police and is assisting with inquiries.
Police remind everyone that all comments regarding the safety and security of aircraft are taken seriously.
