On Monday 22 August 2016, a male appeared in the Christchurch Youth Court having been charged with two aggravated robberies that occurred at the Bunns Bakery on Ferry Road.
On the same day a 28 year old female appeared in the Christchurch District Court charged with receiving stolen property that had been taken during the robbery of a male outside the Wainoni Dairy over the weekend.
On 23 August 2016, Detectives located clothing and a firearm at a residential address which is believed to have been used during the aggravated robbery of the Woolston Night and Day. Police are following up strong leads in relation to this robbery.
Police will continue to identify and target offenders that commit robberies.
Canterbury Police would like to thank the members of the public who witnessed these incidents for coming forward and providing critical information that has led to several arrests.
Police are unable to provide any further comment as the matter is now before the courts.
