Two males have been arrested and charged in relation to the assault of a Hamilton teen that occurred in late February this year. A search warrant was executed at a residential address and this resulted in the arrest of two men.
A 24-year-old male and a 29-year-old male will appear in the Hamilton District Court today.
Acting Detective Sergeant Paul Van der Zee would like to thank members of the public for their assistance and are pleased with the result of the investigation.
"The offenders have been charged with Injuring with intent to injure, Common Assault and Indecent Assault" said Mr Van der Zee.
Police would like to remind the public that any information they may have in relation to any crime can be reported to a local Police station or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
