Arrest made following Gun City theft

Canterbury Police have made an arrest as part of an ongoing investigation into a theft from Gun City on 10 January 2016.

A 31 year old Selwyn man has been charged with shoplifting.  He has been released on Police bail and is due to appear in Christchurch District Court on 22 January 2016.

As this matter is now before the courts Police are unable to make any further comment.

Police encourage anyone who is offered hunting equipment, or sees items for sale by private sellers, at prices too good to be true to contact Police straight away by calling 03 363 7400.
