Appeal for witnesses as truck collision with house in Cracroft

Fortunately no-one was seriously injured when, shortly before 9.45am this morning (11 June 2015), a truck and trailer unit were reported to have collided with a residential property in the Cracroft suburb of Christchurch. 

The passenger in the truck was not injured and the driver, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries, has since been discharged. 

A crane and tow truck are on site and in the process of removing the truck and trailer unit from the property.

Canterbury Police investigations are ongoing.

Canterbury Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the truck and trailer travelling along Worsleys Road or witnessed the crash to call 03 363 7400.
