The 38 year-old man arrested this morning after allegedly stabbing an Auckland Police Officer may have stolen this mountain bike [see attached pic] after running off from the scene of the attack in Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park at about 10.20am.
He was found in Patteson Ave, Mission Bay riding this bike before being tasered and arrested at 10.45am. Anyone with information about where the bike comes from - or any items of interest that may assist the Police investigation into the accused's behaviour - should go to City East CIB on 09 524 1921.
