Counties Manukau Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred on Monday 4 August at the GAS Service Station, Cascades Road, Pakuranga.
At 7:30pm two offenders entered the store. One offender was armed with a screwdriver.
“The staff members were assaulted and an amount of cash and a large selection of tobacco products were stolen during the robbery,” says Detective Sergeant Glenn Wilkinson of Counties Manukau East Police. “The offenders the fled in a stolen silver Nissan Primera stationwagon which was later found abandoned on Archmillen Avenue, Pakuranga, the next morning.”
Police are interested in any information about the people who may be responsible for this crime.
“The two offenders are heavily disguised and wearing gloves however we feel certain that they will have told someone about what they did. Information from the public will be essential for us to track down these two offenders,” says Detective Sergeant Wilkinson.
Police are looking for any information on the two people seen in the CCTV footage, as well as anyone who may know anything about the stolen Nissan stationwagon (pictured).
