At approximately 00.13am on Friday 8 November 2013, The De Post Beer Café situated at 466 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden was the subject of an aggravated robbery.
Three males have entered the bar, one in possession of a pistol and another armed with a screwdriver. They have threatened and assaulted three staff members who were in the process of cleaning up before leaving with an undisclosed sum of cash from the bar safe.
Police are asking anyone with any information relating to the robbery, in particular a family group of patrons who left just prior to the bar closing to contact the Avondale CIB on 09) 820-5763.
