Central Police need your help in identify this person in the aggravated robbery of the Durie Hill Dairy in Whanganui.

Police are seeking assistance from the public to help identify the offender for the aggravated robbery of the Durie Hill Dairy in Whanganui yesterday afternoon.

At about 2.10pm a lone male has walked into the Durie Hill Dairy on Portal Street, Durie Hill, Whanganui brandished a pistol and stolen an amount of goods from the store.

The male is described as wearing a long sleeve black top, black pants, carrying a bag of some sort and had his head covered with a multi coloured motorcycle helmet.

The helmet appears to be quite distinctive and Police are publishing the pictures asking the public if they recognise this helmet and who the owner is.

The shop person was not physically hurt in the robbery but is extremely distressed and family are supporting them.

This aggressive male has gone into your local store and terrorised your local shop person and Police need your help to solve the crime.
