A planned technical upgrade will temporarily affect the service available from the Police Media Centre from 10pm tonight - Tuesday 30 October. It is anticipated the upgrade will take up to 40 hours.
During the upgrade the Media Event Publisher will not be operating and information immediately available to the media team will be limited.
While we will continue to operate as normal during this period, the media team will be focussed on the more significant operational events, emergencies and investigations and these jobs will be prioritised first.
Rest assured if there is an incident of note this information will be shared proactively as usual.
During the upgrade the media team will not be prioritising routine check calls or requests for information about minor crashes and incidents.
