Tisha Lowry has now been missing for six months and family and police still have no idea if a crime has been committed.
"Tisha went missing on 25 September and she has not been seen or heard of since she said goodbye to her grandfather at the Bower Tavern," says DSS Virginia Le Bas.
"I believe she did get home that afternoon but what happened after that we do not know. However someone does and we would like to bring some closure for her family."
Ms Le Bas says that the search has been different because they do not know if a crime has been committed.
"It is not clear what happened," she says. "This lack of finality is extremely difficult for the family. To lose someone you love and not know what has happened is terrible for all concerned. Police staff who have worked on the inquiry also tell me they think of it every day."
Over 3000 people have been spoken to in the course of the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Senior Sergeant Le Bas, phone 363 7400.
