1 min read

New Zealand Police Commissioner Howard Broad will unveil a plaque in memory of Sgt Don Wilkinson during a ceremony on Monday 8 December. Sgt Wilkinson was killed by an offender in Mangere on 11 September 2008.

Don's family and police colleagues will attend the service to be held at The Royal New Zealand Police College, Porirua, at 2.30pm.

The RNZPC is home to a national memorial to the 28 New Zealand police officers and three traffic officers who have been slain on duty since New Zealand Police was formed in 1886.
