Petone death not suspicious

The death of a Petone woman in her car is not being treated as suspicious.

Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Levy, Lower Hutt CIB, said the body of Shahin Ala, aged 33, was found in her car parked on Jackson Street, Petone, yesterday afternoon.

A post mortem completed today revealed no suspicious circumstances and the matter will be referred to the coroner to determine the cause of death.
