A 25 year-old woman and a 36 year-old man will appear in the Auckland District Court today charged with abduction of a child.
The pair was arrested this afternoon by officers investigating the overnight removal of a 10 day old infant, known as Baby Jacob, from the newborn intensive care unit in Auckland's Starship Hospital.
The baby boy was located by Police this morning and returned to hospital where he remains in the custody of CYF.
