Boat capsizes two deceased

At about 10 a.m. on the 18th of November 2012, Police and Coast Guard responded to a capsized aluminium boat between Papakohatu Island (Crusoe Island) and Waiheke Island. Seven persons that were on board have been recovered, two adults are deceased. Police will not be releasing any names until next of kin have been advised.
