The Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of the 18 month infant in Te Anau on Tuesday 21 August 2007.
The infant is Shane Holden Price of Te Anau.
Police anticipate that the scene examination will be completed later today.
There are still ongoing enquiries to be completed in Te Anau.
The investigation is looking at the circumstances leading up to Shane Prices' death.
The Police acknowledge the full co-operation from the family and Te Anau community.
The Police will be awaiting forensic results.
The final outcome of those results and this investigation is still some weeks away.
