Vehicle of interest
04 July 2012

Waikato Police investigating last month's murder of a popular Paeroa businessman believe the occupants of a car travelling through the town a few hours before the victim's body was discovered may hold information important to their case.

Officer in charge of Operation Olive, Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Whitehead, said members the team investigating the death of 55-year-old Jordan VOUDOURIS had identified a vehicle of interest.

"Reviewing CCTV footage and other information we are seeking to identify a small white four-door car that had a distinctive black front passenger door.

"This car was seen travelling through Paeroa towards Waihi about 2am on Monday 18 June and we believe the occupants of this car may be able to assist us in building up a picture of what was happening in the town overnight and during the early hours of the morning."

Mr Whitehead said if anyone recognises the description of the car as being theirs or knows who the owner is they are asked to contact Paeroa Police on 07 862 8744.

Alternatively information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
