Police have charged a man who spent several days up a Titirangi Kauri tree.
The 32 year-old presented himself at the Henderson Police Station this afternoon. He was charged with trespass and bailed.
He will appear in the Waitakere District Court on January 6.
As this is now before the courts Police will not be making any further comment on the matter.
