Yesterday police reported a man missing from Rangiora. Mr Lawrrence O'Connell who suffers from dementia was located this morning in Colombo Street by a police patrol. Sergant Tony Tully said that searchers were already out in the area he had been last seen when the uniform patrol radioed that they had located a man fitting his description.
Mr O'Connell is in Christchurch Hospital A and E to be assessed and is reported to be comfortable.
