The body of missing 21-year-old Luke Rickett was found yesterday in a forestry area on the outskirts of Levin.
Detective Sergeant Sarn Paroli, Horowhenua CIB, said that the body was found in part of the Kohitere Forest, east of Levin, by a group of the young man’s friends who were searching for him.
Police said family members have been advised. A post mortem will be held today and the death referred to the coroner.
