A man will appear in court tomorrow accused of stealing $1200 worth of model vehicles during a robbery in Dannevirke.
The incident occurred at approximately 1.30pm today at Dave's Den, a shop on the corner of High Street and Hospital Street. At approximately 3pm a car was stopped by Police in Woodville and a 48-year-old Masterton man was arrested.
Model vehicles have been recovered. During the robbery it is alleged that a firearm was produced; no weapon has yet been located.
The man will appear at Palmerston North District Court tomorrow morning charged with aggravated robbery. He has also been charged with the unrelated theft of a jacket and a lamp from a farm in Martinborough earlier this week.
