Police have released the name of the five-month-old baby who died in Hastings last week.
He was Mikara Ranui Jarius Reti, of Flaxmere.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in relation to Mikara's death. He is due to appear in the Hastings District Court tomorrow.
