North Shore Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the whereabouts of a 14-year old girl, who has been missing from her home in the suburb of Birkdale, for the past fortnight.
Rhiannon HUGHES is aged 14 years. She was last seen by her mother at about 11.00pm on Tuesday 19 September 2006. At the time she was at a relative's address in Salisbury Road in Birkdale. Since then there's been no further sightings of the girl.
"We are keeping an open mind as to her whereabouts. The girl may be with another person from college," said North Shore Police Youth Aid Officer Constable Scott Norris.
"This teenager is only 14 years of age. Her safety and well being is a priority for Police. Her parents are very concerned that she has been missing for more than two weeks. "
