Three Arrested After Double Shooting In Glen Eden

Police say three persons have now been arrested following yesterday's double shooting at an address in Woodglen Road in Glen Eden.

A 38 year old man has yet to appear in the Waitakere District Court today on a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A 36 year old female has been arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact. She appears in Waitakere District Court on Monday

A 35 years old man who is under police guard in hospital has been charged with unlawful assembly. The 30 year old male victim is in Middlemore Hospital. Surgery has been carried out. He has lost an eye as a result of the shooting.

Police say they have recovered the white falcon car, a .22 calibre rifle and ammunition. A shotgun that is linked to the shootings has not yet been found.

Police say investigations into this double shooting are progressing well with further arrests likely. Anyone with information on the shooting can contact the Henderson CIB.
